Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels had competed in several WrestleMania matches in the past. At WrestleMania 19, Brock and Shawn competed in singles matches against Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, respectively.

Both matches got massive praise from the fans. While some fans considered Michaels against Jericho to be the best match of the show, others considered Lesnar and Kurt’s match to be the best match.

During a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show on AdFreeShows.com, WWE legend Chris Jericho detailed how Shawn Michaels denied Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle having a better match than him and Jericho.

Chris Jericho said, “A lot of people say that we had the best match in the show. A lot of people say that Kurt and Brock had the best match of the show.”

“Although Shawn had the great point of all egos, ‘How could their match be better than ours? Brock f**ked his own finish up. That takes it right out of contention right there,’” he added.

At WrestleMania 19, Brock Lesnar botched a shooting star press from the top rope. The shooting star press was reported to be the actual finisher of the match. However, it all changed after Brock botched the move.

Brock Lesnar botched a shooting star press at WrestleMania 19

Brock Lesnar faced Kurt Angle in the main event for the WWE Championship. On that night, he defeated Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. But there was a moment in the match that Brock and the wrestling world will never forget.

After hitting Kurt Angle with two F5s, the Beast Incarnate tried to execute a Shooting Star Press from the top rope. But unfortunately, he botched the move landing awkwardly on his neck.

Everyone seemed worried for Brock Lesnar at that moment, as this could have ended his career. However, even after that, Lesnar hit Kurt Angle with a third F5 and successfully won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 19.

Brock Lesnar will once again main event WrestleMania this year. And this time it will be against the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. It will be a Winner Takes All Match for the WWE Championship and the WWE Universal Championship.
