The WWE fans love it when a superstar returns; this is especially the case when the star is a WWE Legend and someone who has given a lot of time to the company. One such WWE Legend made his return to the company after 12 long months working in NXT.

WWE Legend William Regal is back in the WWE

William Regal is a known face not just in the WWE but also on NXT. The English wrestler and manager has been a part of pro wrestling since 1983. He not only worked for the WWE but also WCW and AEW. After spending 22 years in the company, he was released from his contract in January 2022.

In March of the same year, he joined AEW and made a surprise debut at AEW’s Revolution. After a year in the company, he took his release on 30 December 2022. He returned to the WWE in January 2023 but in a behind-the-scenes role of Vice President of Global Talent Development. However, now, after almost two years of not being seen, he made his television return on the January 23, 2024, edition of NXT, where he appointed Ava Raine as the new general manager of NXT.
