2022 started off in a disappointing manner for WWE legend Road Dogg as WWE released the Hall of Famer in a shocking round of events. Besides Road Dogg, the WWE also released William Regal, Ryan Katz, and many others.
Road Dogg’s release came as a shock for several people, considering the fact that he worked with WWE for a long time.
But following his WWE release, the WWE Hall of Famer faced an issue on Twitter.

Shockingly, Road Dogg lost his Twitter verification status. The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter to let everyone know that he is back on Twitter, but without the blue tick and a job.

Road Dogg returned to WWE after 10 years in 2011
After parting ways with WWE in 2001, Road Dogg returned in 2011. He even took part in the 2012 Royal Rumble match and lasted for nearly five minutes.
In 2013, he reunited with Billy Gunn to reform The New Age Outlaws and wrestle in tag team matches. At the 2014 Royal Rumble Kick-off show, they defeated Goldust and Cody Rhodes to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
But later, they lost the title to The Usos during an episode of Monday Night Raw in March 2014. Following their loss, they teamed up with Kane to battle The Shield at WrestleMania XXX and lost.

Following WrestleMania XXX, Road Dogg worked as a producer and writer on SmackDown. Later, from May 2019 till his WWE release, the WWE legend taught classes on in-ring promos and character development at WWE Performance Center.
What next for the WWE Hall of Famer?

In recent times, we have seen a few WWE Legends signing with AEW. Considering the fact that Billy Gunn is currently signed to AEW, we might see a reunion of The New Age Outlaws in AEW if Road Dogg ends up in Tony Khan’s company in the future.
