Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. He acted and starred in several films. During his acting career, The Rock shared the screen with several individuals, including WWE legend Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle is another professional wrestler who expressed interest in pursuing an acting career. He did several movies and even worked alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In the 2013 film ‘Pain and Gain’, Kurt Angle and The Rock appeared together. Although Kurt had a cameo appearance, it was exciting to see the two pro wrestlers together.

In the film, Angle’s character brawled against Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s character in a prison fight. Recently, Kurt Angle took to Twitter and posted a 10-year-old photo from the sets of the Pain and Gain movie.

In the picture, the WWE legend is seen alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the director of the movie, Michael Bay. This is not Kurt’s only movie. He also did some other movies as well.

Chains, End Game, River of Darkness, Warrior, Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies, and The Last Witch Hunter are some of the other films in which Kurt Angle played a role.

Is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson coming back to WWE?

The WWE Universe loves and adores Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He is one of WWE‘s top stars and played a huge role in WWE’s success over the years.

He last fought inside the squared circle at WrestleMania 32. On that night, he defeated Erick Rowan in just 6 seconds. With this year’s WrestleMania coming up, fans would love to see ‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’ appear at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

But given all his upcoming projects and films, it seems unlikely that The Rock will appear in WWE soon. But once his schedule lightens, he will definitely love to return to WWE to entertain the fans once again.

There have also been rumors lately of The Rock going up against his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. But that won’t be the case for this year’s WrestleMania. But who knows, we might get to see this dream match next year.
