The former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy has been in the news for the past couple of weeks. And the reason is not so good. Hardy made an embarrassing botch that made fans believe that his time as a professional wrestler is over. And on top of that, AEW scrapped the idea of his appearance on its recent show.

However, this wasn’t the case always, Jeff Hardy was one of the top stars during his prime. But various issues plagued his run in the business. One of these has been his issues with addiction which he seems to be overcoming following his arrest in a DUI incident last year.

“I think part of his journey to sobriety over the last year. He has probably learned a lot and he has put his foot down some in terms of being a people pleaser. Much like, he doesn’t wrestle on the indie scene right now. He’s open to doing signings and cons and stuff like that, but he only wants to do two a month. He’s really put his foot down with that, and I respect that, and I’m cool with that.”, said Matt Hardy.
