In 2002, The Nature Boy Ric Flair and Vince McMahon wrestled in a street fight. Vince McMahon convinced 16-times World Champion to return in the ring for the Royal Rumble event.
This was Ric Flair’s first feud since his return. The Boss and the WWE Hall of Famer gave the wrestling world a splendid match.
The match included marvelous usage of props such as a steel pipe, camera, trash cans, and television monitor. Finally, Ric Flair emerged victorious as he hit Vince with a steel rod right on his skull and put him in a figure four submission.

Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon street fight’s audience reaction!
WWE Executive Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson sat down on their podcast to talk about the unthinkable match. Conrad Thompson stated that the street fight was held in Atlanta, and the WWE Hall of Famer had his family by the ringside.
He also added that the crowd in Atlanta grooved to the battle between the two. Bruce Prichard responded, “I thought the match was great. I thought that they told a hell of a story. It was what it was, and people loved it.”
Ric Flair’s daughter Megan Fliehr also attended the PPV to support her father.

At one point in the match, Vince McMahon took the camera out of Megan’s hand and snapped a shot of himself and Flair’s face covered in blood.

Later, when Flair had the upper hand on The Boss, Ric’s daughter Megan took a picture of both of them. It is said that Ric Flair and Vince McMahon had pictures hanging in their offices of this moment.
The 16-times World Champion made a remarkable return in 2002!
The WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair, was skeptical about getting back inside the ring in 2002. However, at the wish of The Boss, Ric Flair made his return and popped his win over Vince. Thompson asked Prichard about Flair’s reaction after the match.

“Oh, I think he [Ric Flair] was ecstatic on the other side; he got through it. Awesome reaction and it was everything that it could be. Sometimes Ric had an issue with being the Ric Flair that he thought he was. And it was the audience just viewed him as Ric Flair man, and to me, I think Ric could go out to the end of time and just still be Ric Flair,” Bruce Prichard replied.
