The duty of managing a wrestler’s storyline and its on-screen portrayal is one of the crucial tasks in the promotion. Without the perfect representation of a wrestler in the roster, there is no scope for popularity for the company.

The mishandling of one’s talent can lead to degrading the image of the entire company. Recently, a wrestling commentator shared a similar fact with a particular example on this matter.

He blamed Vince McMahon for mishandling the talent of Paul Wight or, as wrestling fans know him, The Big Show.

During his reign, McMahon was considered a devise person. Almost his entire life on the roster, he was surrounded by one controversy or another.

As per several people, he has taken plenty of incorrect decisions during his period. However, as per the WWE legend, his worst one is the management of Big Show’s talent.

Jim Ross accusing Vince McMahon of overexposing Paul Whight

While speaking in the latest episode of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross shared his thoughts on how to appropriately handle a wrestler’s talent. He mentioned the former chairperson of WWE and his ‘worst booked star’ in WWE

Ross said, “You just cannot overexpose an attraction because guess what? They cease being an attraction. They’re not new, they’re not fresh, they’re not different, they’re not eye-opening.”

After accusing McMahon of overexposing the giant wrestler. He continued with his opinion on the same. He added, “I really just think that Big Show was one of the most ill-booked talents, on that level, that we ever had.”

Wrestling veteran’s thoughts on the Big Show

Talking about the opinions of other wrestling legends of Big Show’s talent, we cannot forget Dutch Mantell’s comment. In one edition of Story Time, he was also of the opinion that the former chairman hasn’t given justice to the 7-time world champion.

While sharing his views, he even told what he would have done in McMahon’s position. Rather than overexposing the Big Show by booking him every week, a bi-weekly book would have intrigued the fans more.
