Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was no stranger at being a champion before coming to WWE. Back in WCW, he held the championship five times, and prior to that, he struck gold in the tag team division. However, this didn’t mean that everyone in the WWE would welcome him with open arms. Eventually, WWE legend The Undertaker invited Booker T inside the locker room after noticing his efforts.
The five-time WCW champion recently revealed a heartfelt moment from his early days in WWE where he confessed that he didn’t use the locker room which the rest of the WWE superstars used until Undertaker noticed him.

The Undertaker noticed the work put in by Booker T
Booker T recently appeared on WWE legend JBL’s podcast, ‘Stories With Brisco And Bradshaw‘, where he discussed the time when WWE chairman Vince McMahon had just bought WCW.
Additionally, he advised the up-and-coming wrestlers that they should work on their people skills and make themselves comfortable inside the locker room before they step inside the ring.
“I always tell people, you got to know how to make it in a locker room before you ever have a chance at making it in the ring. And I say that because I came from WCW. And every WCW guy, none of them knew how to make it in the locker room. They could work. They didn’t know how to make it in the locker room.”
He further went on to explain how he processed at first when he came to WWE. The former champion said that he worked hard to earn trust and used to change in the TV room before Undertaker himself invited Booker inside the locker room.
“I leave all my accolades back in WCW back in Georgia. And I’m gonna go in this locker room and prove to these guys that I’m worthy to be in that with them. All right, and I remember coming to work one day, and Undertaker said, ‘Hey man, why don’t you come over here and dress over here with us’. It was the first time I dressed in the TV locker room. I earned that respect. Right. And I pay it off here.”
