There are certain dream matches that happened in the industry and we are so glad that they happened. However, one dream match that the WWE Universe never got enough of was the WrestleMania match between John Cena and The Undertaker.
The icons of the industry met at the Grandest Stage of them all at WrestleMania 34. After weeks and weeks of teasing, ‘Taker finally appeared at the event and squashed Cena in under three minutes.

But the reason why this was such a short match was that Vince wanted to give Undertaker his confidence inside the ring and John Cena was more than happy to do that for the legend.

John Cena reveals an interesting secret of the night he faced The Undertaker
During the buildup for their match at WrestleMania, Cena would mock and tease The Undertaker every week on TV. Interestingly, Cena promised to be at ‘Mania as a fan until Undertaker shows up.
Speaking on ‘Pat McAfee Show‘, the 16-time world champion revealed the thrill he felt when he attended WrestleMania as a fan. Eventually, he admitted that he made friends in the audience.
“That was a great experience for me because I got to be something I admire and something that I am. I got to be a fan,”
However, Cena was not sitting empty-handed that night. He confessed that he had three tall drafts before he hopped the fence to face The Undertaker.

“Everybody’s chilled and watched the show because they were watching with John [Cena]. And I made great friends with some people who traveled from Australia and people who traveled from across the US buying each other beers. Literally, I crushed three tall drafts before they told me The Undertaker was there and I had to hop the barricade and go wrestle The Undertaker.” Cena confessed.
John Cena and The Undertaker had a storied career inside the squared circle which will not be replicated easily by future stars. However, both the stars are currently enjoying their time off wrestling.

Cena is currently promoting his upcoming ‘The Peacemaker’ series where he is playing a role of a deranged villain who would do anything to achieve peace.
