The Undertaker is one of the most unique and mysterious WWE superstars of all time. For over three decades, The Phenom terrorized multiple superstars and fans through his aura and presence. However, in his long career, he encountered multiple opponents and had a heavy list of rivals to his name.

Among those rivals, stands JBL aka John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL is one of the most hated heels of all time. Toward the end of his career, he had embraced his heelish character to the core, and become one of the most infamous heels of all time.

However, apart from being a reel-life heel character on-screen, JBL also had an infamous reputation to his name as well. Unfortunately, despite being a hated character, the WWE Hall of Famer also withheld the reputation of being a backstage bully.

Recently, ECW ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis revealed how ECW commentator Joey Styles once fought back against the bullying of JBL, and it completely tarnished his infamous reputation. Styles had done what many failed to do.

What does Stephen DeAngelis claim about JBL’s bullying nature?

The former ECW ring-announcer opened up about the WWE legend’s bullying habit, and how he made it tough for several superstars backstage. JBL was a bully to several people, and there were many stories about his act.

DeAngelis during his interview with Hannibal TV revealed how Joey Styles fought back against it. He said, “We all know that Bradshaw bullied everybody. So everybody had a Bradshaw story. So the fact that he got his comeuppance, people couldn’t wait to share the story. And I don’t know if it had so much to do with Joey as it did the fact that Bradshaw no longer could operate with the same mystique.”

He further claimed that despite Styles fighting back against the bullying, JBL would still try it, but get over with it. DeAngelis stated that the mystique was almost gone. He said, “I mean he still tried, but the mystique was gone.”

Bullying is one of the most heinous things a person can do to another, and JBL was one of them. While his arch-rival The Undertaker was more of a locker room hero, he was much of an enforcer, engaging in terrorizing the lives of talents backstage.

JBL is now long-retired and is enjoying his time at the company as a commentator. He was also recently involved alongside Baron Corbin in a storyline, which did not amount to anything.
