In the recent weeks, to talk of the town has been WWE’s return to live events. The last time fans were in the area was back in April during WrestleMania 37. Now that WWE has announced its tour, the fans are eagerly looking forward to attending them. But that is not all. Apparently, WWE has something special planned for its live audience.
According to reports, WWE is potentially thinking about adding themed live shows like Old School RAW, King of the Ring, etc. The King of the Ring PPV was undoubtedly one of the most beloved and entertaining events in WWE.

Hearing WWE is potentially looking at more ‘themed’ live shows upon returning to the road. Old School RAW, KOTR tourney, Viewers Choice ala Cyber Sunday all possible for late 2021, early 2022.

The idea is well received by fans. They would love to see some of the old themes back in play. Even without the inclusion of themes, the WWE universe has already booked their tickets for the live shows. This is a massive boost to the financial stability of WWE as a business. Not to mention a sigh of relief during these times of crisis.
Stephanie McMahon states the importance of live events for WWE
During a recent interview with Yahoo Finance, WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon addressed how important ticket sales are for them. She said that the ticket sales are looking great. At the moment, they are currently on sale with about 26 different events and SummerSlam goes on sale this Friday. McMahon reiterated how important it is. She says they are all very excited.
Stephanies adds that they have seen excellent results so far. She concluded that they definitely are tracking way ahead of where they were actually the last time in the market for these events.

We are sure that the fans are over the moon with the resuming of live shows. Some hardcore fans might even attend every single live show on the road. Talk about commitment. Now with reports about bringing back themes, the event is a must see spectacle. We hope WWE delivers on the hype and the fans get to go home happy. But if they keep up with their repetitive storylines, then there is no purpose for live shows.
