Jey Uso quit WWE last week. After being betrayed by his twin brother Jimmy Uso, he made the impulsive decision to leave the Stamford-based promotion for good. It must have been very hard for The Uso’s father to see his sons split on TV. Fans are waiting when Rikishi will interfere, but so far we haven’t heard from him yet.
That said, the WWE Hall of Famer is currently not focusing on his sons’ feud. He tends to focus on his other family members, especially his niece, who recently earned a prestigious honor. He went online to send a heartfelt message to her about her latest accomplishment.

The BIG EAST Conference has just released the names of over 3,000 student-athletes selected for the 2022-23 BIG EAST All-Academic Team. Rikishi’s niece, Vaughan Anoa’i – a volleyball player – is one of the honorees. The WWE Hall of Famer congratulated her on her enormous accomplishment by writing a heartfelt message on his Instagram profile.
He shared her picture and expressed how proud he was of her. Vaughan replied to this post with a thank you note to her uncle which said, “thank you so much uncle june bug !!! always grateful to have you in my corner no matter what🤞🏽🤞🏽.” Not many people know about Vaughan because she is not a TV personality.

On one hand, Rikishi is being vocal about his niece’s accomplishment while being completely silent as his sons drift apart with each waking moment. Will he interfere and knock some sense into his boys or watch them tear each other down?
When will The Usos’ father step up?
At SummerSlam, we saw Jimmy interfere and cost his twin brother Jey his match against Roman Reigns. Last week, The Bloodline members made an appearance inside the ring to address the SummerSlam drama. The ending moments of the blue brand show saw Jey going on a rampage and ambushing all his brothers in the show.

He then announced his decision to quit WWE. Later, WWE moved ‘Main Event Jey Uso’ from its current roster section to the alumni section. Rikishi has been silent on The Bloodline so far. However, he accidentally shared a post on social media claiming to be a referee at Payback a few days ago.
This caused havoc on the internet as the WWE Universe started believing that he might finally step up. Unfortunately, the WWE Hall of Famer claimed it was a mistake and nothing of such a sort was going to happen. We don’t know if it was an honest mistake or a hint about his actual return to the promotion.
