Austin revealed that Stone Cold was his favorite rival, and talked about why he will be remembered as the most popular Superstar in WWE’s history.
“Number one. His character was so strong. People absolutely loved him or they hated him when he was a heel. But, his intensity in the ring is unmatched. His in-ring psychology is incredible. He’s one of the very few guys that can improvise out in the ring and change the spots and change things and go back to what it was originally. He knows how to improvise very well. Undoubtedly, The Texas Rattlesnake is already as popular as one can be. There is not a soul in the pro-wrestling business who doesn’t know him. In fact, Stone Cold Steve Austin is credited to be the one who pulled WWE through its most successful era – The Attitude Era.

Stone Cold Steve Austin had his final match at WrestleMania 19
There are multiple reasons why a pro-wrestler retires from the business. However, the most common reason is injury. This was the reason Stone Cold had to retire. He sustained multiple injuries, especially a neck injury, during his WWE career.
His last match at WWE was against The Rock at WrestleMania 19. In fact, The Texas Rattlesnake revealed he has been walking around with that defeat when he answered Kevin Owens’ invitation for WrestleMania 38.

Currently, it’s supposed to be a KO Show segment between Kevin Owens and Stone Cold. However, there is a chance of this converting into an in-ring brawl in a legendary Stunner vs Stunner tussle!
