Mick Foley did not expect WWE to release Tom Phillips
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter after hearing the news of Tom Phillips’ WWE release. Foley shared he was surprised to see WWE release Phillips.

He added that he always loved Tom’s work and thought he had great chemistry with his fellow commentators.

Tom Phillips is one of the finest color commentators in today’s era. Hence, fans feel that it’s a shame they let him go.
In fact, everyone thought Tom Phillips would replace Adnan Virk on Raw following the latter’s release. However, WWE announced the addition of Jimmy Smith to the Raw commentary team.
