“All of the matches are going to try and steal the show, but Sasha and Bayley have what I think is the greatest women’s match I’ve ever seen at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn,” said the WWE legend.
The ‘Boss’ texted Mick Foley saying, “I can retire now’, after the monumental match. These comments from the hardcore legend show that he has high hopes from them once they step inside Hell in a Cell.
Foley even believes that their Hell in a Cell match will top Sasha’s last cell match against Becky Lynch. That match was a modern classic, especially due to Sasha’s innovation and experience inside the cell. The match with Bayley has been penciled as a potential main event for the PPV.
Bayley and Sasha’s rivalry has been as personal and intense as their rivalry in NXT. Bayley turning on Sasha lit a fire inside the Boss, one that fans have not seen in her since her NXT days. Fans can expect both women to throw the kitchen sink at each other until one woman prevails with her hand raised in victory and the title around her waist.
Here's what @RealMickFoley said to me about #HIAC this Sunday and he had special praise for @itsBayleyWWE and @SashaBanksWWE, including a text her got from The Boss after the famous TakeOver: Brooklyn match.

Foley has been one of the best performers inside Hell in a Cell
Mick Foley has had some of the best Hell in a Cell matches in the history of the iconic stipulation. His match against Triple H in 200o was absolutely brutal. Both men bled buckets, and it took a back body drop through the top of the cell, and a Pedigree on thumbtacks for the Game to put away Cactus Jack.
His most famous cell match, and probably the most memorable one came against the Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998. The Deadman launched Mankind off the cell through the commentators table.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler’s reaction to the terrifying fall summed up the craziness of the match. As if that spot wasn’t enough, Undertaker proceeded to chokeslam Foley through the cell and onto the ring below, before putting him away with the Tombstone Piledriver.

Sasha and Bayley’s match might not reach the heights of craziness that Mick Foley’s matches reached. However, the stakes are high and both women will be hellbent on stealing the show.
