WWE Hall of Famer Feels the Company Wasted a Major WrestleMania Opportunity With Lita’s Win and Trish Stratus’ Return on RAW

Monday Night RAW saw two WWE legends having a memorable night. Lita won the Women’s Tag Team titles alongside Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus made her return. The 47-year-old pinned Io Sky to take the victory for her team. However, a WWE Hall of Famer claims WWE wasted a major scenario to book a WrestleMania match by Lita’s win and Stratus’ return.

In the recent episode of Busted Open, Bully Ray had some major words for WWE booking the main event on RAW. He wasn’t in the favor of Damage CTRL losing to Lynch and Lita. Also, he shared his version of booking Stratus’ return.

The Hall of Famer winning a title in WWE after a long time made the fans go berserk. However, there is a concern that what is next for Damage CTRL after losing the titles.

Ray said, “I have given you both scenarios I can possibly come up with. There is, nobody gets hurt last night. This is the ultra-easy way to do it. Bayley pops up, the ref is distracted, and they are able to do something.”

He added, “Lita gets rolled up,1-2-3,  it doesn’t hurt Lita. Lita hasn’t been in the ring for a long time. Lita gets roll up, we get a quick shock on the babyfaces faces.”

Moreover, Stratus’ return made the moment much more remarkable. There is a hint for a 6-women tag match at the grandest stage, but there is no word on it.

Bully Ray shares his version of booking Lita and Trish Stratus

Bully Ray believes Damage CTRL shouldn’t have lost the tag titles on RAW. According to him, WWE could have booked a WrestleMania feud without the title change. The 10-time tag team champion said, “Here comes Bayley and the Damage CRTL to do the big beat down on the two babyface women. And it looks like they are going to stand tall. Everybody is booing, hit Trish’s music big pop and kick.”

Ray added, “Lita goes on top and moonsaults everybody standing strong. Now you are moving into your 6-women WrestleMania. Boom done see ya bye!”

Nevertheless, the match and the return received a great ovation in the arena. Also, this garnered significant attention from not only the general fans but from singer Cardi B who tweeted her reaction to the entire segment.
