WWE Hall of Famer Explains How He Predicted the Outcome of Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes at WWE NoC – “You Cannot Do That Winning”

After WrestleMania 39, fans expected Cody Rhodes to continue his rivalry against Roman Reigns. However, things took a turn for Rhodes after Brock Lesnar attacked him during a promo. The American Nightmare’s story now includes Lesnar as its present chapter. The two faced each other at Backlash 2023 first. Their rivalry then found room to grow at Night of Champions as well.

Following an exciting turn of events, Rhodes lost to Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia. Although this might come as a surprise to some fans, Mark Henry claims to have already predicted this. He talked about his prediction in full detail during a recent episode of ‘Busted Open’.

Mark Henry predicted Cody Rhodes’ defeat

In a recent episode of his podcast, Henry discussed the Night of Champions with his co-hosts. He couldn’t seem to overlook Rhodes’ wrestling match against The Beast Incarnate. Although his loss caught some of his fans off-guard, Henry claims to have already predicted so.

“He [Cody Rhodes] has earned the right to be able to stand among the giants and to be able to defeat the giants when the time comes. Right now is just not the time. Bully and I said [it] after WrestleMania,” confessed the WWE legend about The American Nightmare. “You cannot do that winning.”

While talking, Henry also praised Rhodes for his work so far. He believes that The American Nightmare has earned his spot in the pro wrestling industry. However, he also believes that it’ll take some time before Rhodes achieves what he has set out to achieve.

According to Henry, WWE is trying to build his story from the ground up in a gradual manner.
