Edge now appears regularly on WWE television. Well, this is something that the WWE Universe might not have imagined after what happened in 2011.

Back in 2011, the WWE Hall of Famer announced his retirement from in-ring competition because of a severe injury. But the Rated-R superstar shocked everyone by making a return to in-ring competition in 2020.

The former WWE Champion made his return to WWE during the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. He impressed everyone with his performance.

Edge eliminated three individuals before getting eliminated by Roman Reigns during the ending moments of the match.

Now, Edge is competing again in matches against the top guys in WWE. He also had been involved in several heated feuds. But a time will also come when the 48-year-old WWE superstar will have to retire once again.

During an interview recorded earlier on Steven’s Wrestling Journey presents Turnbuckle Talk with Steven Spice, Edge opened up about his retirement plans.

Edge said, “Won’t be ten. Definitely won’t be ten. I doubt it’ll be five, I think it’s gonna be before that. I don’t even think it’s going to be three.”

He added, “I don’t know, but I don’t think it’s going to be that long. I know the window is small.”

Ever since his return in 2020, Edge has been appearing mostly as a babyface. But recently, he turned heel prior to his feud against AJ Styles.

However, the Rated-R superstar has played his heel role to perfection so far, and now with Damian Priest by his side, it will be very interesting to see what plans Edge has for the future.

Edge picked up the win over AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38

AJ Styles vs Edge is a match that several fans had been asking for since Edge’s WWE return in 2020. And finally, it took place this year at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Prior to their match, the WWE Hall of Famer attacked Styles brutally and made his intentions clear. And at WrestleMania 38, the Rated-R superstar got the better of Styles as he successfully pinned ‘The Phenomenal One’.

With Damian Priest by his side now, it looks Edge might form a new stable. However, fans can certainly expect some other surprises in the upcoming weeks.
