Shane McMahon has not only been on the corporate side of WWE, but he has also contested inside the squared circle. Over the years, he entertained the fans through his high-risk-taking abilities.
Throughout his in-ring career, he has produced some unbelievable moments and has even won some championships in his WWE career. Recently, WWE legend Booker T praised Shane McMahon and believes him to be worthy of a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T said, “I think Shane can be recognized as an in-ring performer as far as what he contributed to the business. Some of the feats that Shane McMahon has pulled off.”

“Just go back to talking about Kurt Angle and that over-the-top suplex through the glass. That one right there is something that totally sticks out in my mind. In 2001, at WWE Backlash, Shane McMahon leaped from the top of the Titantron and landed on Big Show. Also in 2001 at King of the Ring PPV, Kurt Angle suplexed Shane McMahon through a glass panel.
At WrestleMania 32 against The Undertaker, he jumped from the top of the cell. But at the last moment, The Undertaker moved away and Shane went crashing through the announce table.
Thus, Shane McMahon is a pure entertainer. And his risk-taking abilities make him unique.

When did Shane McMahon last compete in WWE?
Shane returned to WWE in 2022 at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. He entered the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at number 28 and even eliminated WWE Raw superstar Kevin Owens.

He lasted over five minutes in the match but became one of Lesnar’s victims. Brock Lesnar would eventually win the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and later challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.

As for Shane, after the match, he was reportedly let go from WWE following some reported backstage heat. But Shane McMahon had produced several memorable moments for the WWE Universe to enjoy. And no one can deny that.
