WWE Veteran gives his opinion on who should win between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes
Speaking on his podcast, My World with Jeff Jarrett, the WWE veteran, first reflected on the storyline around the match for the WWE Universal Championship. He deeply analyzed different attractive factors about the main event. He then shared who he believes should win at Mania with good reason.
At first, he mentioned The American Nightmare’s side of the story, that it’s a lineage and an emotional backstory of his father not winning the title. He then quickly said, “Now on the opposite side of the fence is a guy that hadn’t been beaten in three years, you don’t really get those opportunities to come around.”
Certainly, the 55-year-old believes it is a great storyline that WWE has managed to pull off. However, he also feels that Reigns should be the one to do the job to Cody Rhodes.
Jarrett said, “I don’t believe there’s only one finish, like I’ll say this if Roman didn’t do the honors, I truly believe it would hurt Roman worst worse than it would hurt Cody.”
The AEW’s Director of Business Development straight away said that The WWE Undisputed Universal Champion will be hurt if he wins the match. It might sound weird but this is what he believes in. He even terms it a “no-brainer” and continued to explain.
Jeff Jarrett thinks of his weird claim as a “no-brainer”
In Double J’s opinion, it goes without saying that, “Roman doesn’t really work.” He then used the analogy of a TV show, a movie, and a musical act to describe the importance of the lead performer.

Jarrett then pointed at Reign’s part-time schedule, which he feels will lower the performance quality of WWE. This point-of-view of the WWE veteran is an interesting input that differs from many, however, seems logical as well. But to know if the 2023 Royal Rumble’s history maker will be able to finish his story or not, we will have to wait till this weekend.
