However, the event took place in Saudi Arabia this year, which led to some changes. Due to cultural reasons, WWE women Superstars have to cover themselves up. However, Ronda’s outfit required one exception.
Ronda Rousey followed the rules regarding covering up when she went to compete in the ring. However, she wanted to go to the ring in her Judogi. Ronda is a former Judo artist and has won many accolades in judo over the years. Moreover, she even went to the Olympics representing the United States in Judo. Hence, she used her Judogi for Elimination Chamber 2022.

The former WWE Raw Women’s Champion posted a video on her YouTube channel recently. In the video, she recalled her time competing in Saudi Arabia and revealed the special permission WWE had to take for her. Ronda said.
“They, you know, wanted us all to cover up, like from head to toe. Well, not to toe, I had to get my bare feet cleared. I was like, am I allowed to be barefoot? and so they had to like ask and get permission and so instead of wearing a bodysuit like everyone else, I’m like I’m going to cover up, I’m going to do it my way.”
Rousey further said that she loved the reaction from the crowd in Saudi Arabia. She also loved her match at the event. Moreover, Rousey also delved into how her schedule with her baby changed while they were there.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet returned to WWE after giving birth at Royal Rumble 2022. Moreover, she won the Royal Rumble match and soon challenged WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for a title match at WrestleMania 38.

Rousey is now set to face the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 38. Only time will tell if Ronda will become the women’s world champion once again.
