WWE watched over The Rock and rectified a small mistake he made on social media. Nevertheless, it was not something specific to his current storyline, or was it? We need to dig deeper for the answer.

It is slated that The Rock will return this week on Friday Night SmackDown from Glendale, Arizona and the tickets are selling out quickly. The Rock took to his Instagram to showcase his unbound excitement for the same but did it in a slightly faulty way. Thanks to WWE’s prompt attention, it did not end up as a bad look for both entities.

The Great One has currently been running high in the active Bloodline storyline, prompting fans to guess what’s next. Not to keep them waiting for long, The Rock sealed the news of his next appearance on Instagram announcing that he’ll be at the March 8th SmackDown from Dallas, TX, and the following week’s show (3/15) from Memphis, TN. “Greatness is coming, get ready Glendale’  he wrote over a picture of him alongside the Roman Reigns’ family. In the caption, he wrote, ”You can feel the uptick, excitement, energy & disruption happing now in pro wrestling”

WWE quickly spotted the misspelled happening as ”happing ” and corrected it right away.

However, it seems like Dwayne Johnson isn’t only returning to this week’s SmackDown but also bringing us an important update to the rumored The Rock vs Cody Rhodes match.

Ever since the Elimination Chamber went down, it seems a highly anticipated face-off between The Rock and Cody Rhodes is all slated to occur at WrestleMania, but not much has been spilled so far regarding the same. While the fans already started to scratch their heads with the possible case scenarios, a recent report suggested that a major update is looming large on this week’s SmackDown as The Rock is recurring back to SmackDown specifically to answer Cody Rhodes’ challenge.
