WWE planned Jeff Hardy to face Karrion Kross in a rematch

According to PWInsider, Hardy was about to face Karrion Kross for tonight’s episode of Raw on the USA Network, WWE has now removed the match from the match card for the night.

Neither Hardy nor WWE has offered any official statement on the matter at press time, recordBar broke this news when they gave a heads up to their guests before the meet-and-greet with Hardy.

This rematch between Kross and Hardy would have been a crucial match, advancing into the storyline between both the wrestlers. Before this match, Hardy defeated NXT champion Karrion Kross in a brief match on this past Monday’s episode of Raw.

The WWE creative and Vince McMahon received a lot of backlash from the WWE Universe when Kross lost to Hardy in his debut on the main roster. Kross had been undefeated until then before this match.
