WWE has announced a unique partnership with UK-based Enfield Town Football Club for a one-year agreement for the 2021/22 football season. Triple H took to Twitter and announced this news to the beloved fans of two different sports.
NXT UK has a history with Enfield Town in London because WWE based their UK Performance Center in Great Cambridge Industrial Estate back in January 2019 in Enfield, London.

Enfield Town FC is England’s first fan-owned football club founded in 2001. The fans being at the forefront of the club seems like a lucrative deal. The 14-time World Champion saw this as a perfect expansion opportunity.
WWE is expanding its market and the football club seems like a great opportunity; however, there are still developments happening in the deal as of this writing.
Triple H announces the “first-of-its-kind” partnership
Triple H took to Twitter earlier today to announce this “first-of-its-kind” partnership between professional wrestling and the Enfield Football Club; this partnership is in celebration of the club’s 20th Anniversary.
“Enfield in London has played a big part in the journey of NXT UK since the opening of our UK Performance Centre. That’s why I’m proud to announce today, the first of its kind partnership between NXT UK and Enfield Town Football Club in celebration of their 20th anniversary,” said Triple H.

The Enfield Football Club’s chairman praises WWE for the partnership
The Chairman at Enfield Town Football Club, Paul Reed said that this deal with the WWE will provide a bigger magnitude audience for the club; eventually, the club will become more popular than the local teams of the UK.

It’s confirmed that the NXT UK logo will appear on both the first team’s home shirts and the women’s reserve team home shirts. It will also feature on billboards at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium.
