WWE Day 1 is knocking on the door and the WWE Universe cannot keep calm! The match card has the fans giddy with excitement.

But, before the actual event begins, it’s quite interesting to look into the matches, the feud history, and predicting the winners. It may not be the outcome one is hoping for, but that’s what PPVs are all about – the last minute changes that pave the path for 2022!

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar

The Tribal Chief has been the Universal Champion since Payback 2020. Several such as John Cena, Finn Balor, Daniel Bryan, and others have failed to dethrone The Tribal Chief.

Now, Brock Lesnar returned at SummerSlam 2021, challenged Roman Reigns, failed to defeat Reigns at Crown Jewel 2021 (which was a controversial loss), got suspended, and finally returned to secure a match against Roman Reigns for Day 1.

There’s a higher chance of Roman Reigns securing the victory. One of the reasons being that Reigns will be with WWE longer than Brock Lesnar. Second, Paul Heyman will play a strong role in his match. There’s a chance Heyman’s role will determine the winner of the match.

But, otherwise it seems Roman Reigns could continue to be Universal Champion.

Fatal 4-Way: WWE Championship

The current WWE Champion, Big E, has found himself defending the championship against three of the strongest competitors on Raw’s roster – Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley.

All of them have the capacity to become champion, and it only takes someone to pin anyone for Big E to lose the title.

Nevertheless, it’s possible that Big E will continue to be the WWE Champion. Not that others cannot become the champion, but Big E’s run as the champion has been quite successful.

WWE may not end this successful championship run at the first PPV of 2022!

Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan

The Man wanted a new challenger and Morgan stepped up. Maybe Lynch didn’t expect Liv Morgan to withstand all the hateful words, unexpected hits, and other things that the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion threw at Morgan, but she did.

Now, Lynch reluctantly yet confidently accepted Morgan’s challenge. But, it seems like it will be Liv Morgan who will walk away with the championship!

RK-Bro vs The Street Profits

The Raw Tag Team Championships are on the line with Randy Orton and Matt Riddle ready to do whatever it takes to remain the tag team champions.

Now, this could possibly go one of two ways.

First, RK-Bro retain the championships.

Second, The Street Profits become the new champions and Day 1 marks the end of RK-Bro.

The Usos vs The New Day

Everyone from The Bloodline is defending their titles at Day 1, and hence, The Usos will defend the SmackDown tag team Championships against The New Day.

There’s a higher chance of The New Day walking away as champions. While The Usos have been champions for quite a while, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are two of the strongest competitors as a tag team on the roster.

Edge vs The Miz

The Rated-R Superstar and The Miz returned to WWE Raw on the same night. They immediately started a feud.

However, The Miz returned with Maryse and they made quite the team against Edge. But, everyone knows if there is white, Brood drenches it in black blood.

This is exactly what Edge drenched The Miz and Maryse in a Brood Bath during their wedding segment on WWE Raw. So, it’s only fair The Miz gets his revenge on Edge for ruining his special day.

Predictably, The Miz will walk away with the win.

Drew McIntyre vs Madcap Moss

This one is rather easy – Drew McIntyre.

It’s highly unlikely that Madcap can pin The Scottish Psychopath!

Cesaro & Ricochet vs. Sheamus & Ridge Holland

They’re preparing to entice the crowd during the kickoff show. But, there is still going to be a winner and it could lead to a future storyline.
