Total Non-stop Action was founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002. Despite getting lower ratings, the promotion tried its best to compete with the WWE. In 2017 March, the company was fully rebranded into Impact Wrestling. This revitalized the show for a new audience.

Among the stars of Impact to move to WWE and vice versa, the most famous has been AJ Styles. He’s held the WWE World Heavyweight Champion four times. Styles was once the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, the very first TNA X Division Champion. This solidified him as one of the best wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry.

Among the WWE stars who moved to TNA were Christian and Bobby Lashley. Christian was a World Heavyweight Championship twice in the WWE before leaving for TNA. In Impact, he was the World Heavyweight Champion twice. Lashley was a bigger name in Impact thanks to his popularity in the WWE.
