Roman Reigns is currently having the longest Universal Championship reign of all time. His scarce appearances in WWE,  mean he has had only four title defenses in 2023 so far. Now, The Tribal Chief is officially up for another challenge for his title. WWE recently announced that the ‘Head of the Table’ will be seen at Crown Jewel 2023.

To hype up the fans in the city of Riyadh who would be present on the 4th of November to see the PLE, WWE uploaded the official poster for the event on their Twitter account. In the image, we can see Reigns standing next to his new opponent.

WWE took to Twitter to upload their latest poster for the upcoming PLE. In the image, they revealed that Reigns would be facing up against nobody other than the wrestler he laid out on SmackDown’s season Premiere a week ago. If you haven’t guessed it yet, the top star is LA Knight himself.

As mentioned above, the conflict between the two stars started when Reigns returned to SmackDown last week. To reiterate his dominance in the blue brand, The Tribal Chief tried to intimidate anyone who stood in his way. One of them happened to be LA Knight.

The two superstars exchanged words in a heated promo. Fans who were present in the arena and were watching it on their screens all felt like this feud was going to go somewhere. However, WWE kept this plan a secret until recently.

The news that was first reported by the LA Times was later confirmed by WWE itself through social media. It’s clear that the Stamford-based company is doing plenty of marketing for the presumed main event for the night.

This will be Reigns’ fifth title defense of the year, with him overcoming all his four previous challengers in 2023.

The year started off great for the wrestler with his first successful title defense at the first-ever PLE of 2023, Royal Rumble. Reigns was able to defeat Kevin Owens in January, retaining his Undisputed Title. Then, the story moved on to Owens’ best friend. However, the 38-year-old laid waste to Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber despite struggling in the match.
