Although the June 17 episode of Monday Night Raw hit superhyped due to the teased return date of Uncle Howdy, the first hour of the show went dry with no massacre executed at all. But the other things we have seen so far were enough to make the show astounding regardless. Seth Rollins’ unforeseen comeback in a momentous opening segment set the stage for some more serendipitous changes to take over. A huge new development in the Money in The Bank rulebook was one prime among them.

Important changes revealed regarding the MITB 2024 rulebook

We landed at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, tonight, straight from Clash at the Castle 2024. While the fallout from the big PLE from the past weekend was in focus, the build-up to the next biggie in the line, Money in The Bank also had its fair share. It started with the qualifying matches, including Iyo Sky vs. Zelina Vega vs. Kiana James and Jey Uso vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor. But it came down to the most riveting update when WWE announced that  6 persons in the Men’s and Women’s MITB ladder matches will go after the briefcase this year.

The July 6 event in Toronto is our next stop.

Moving ahead, there can be ample space for some sidelined stars to return in next month’s PLE.

Stars that might make a rampant return in MITB 2024

Last year’s contests contained seven participants each. With the reduced number of contenders for this year and Jey Uso and Iyo Sky already landing on the greener side tonight, there is still a place for 10 male and female stars to set foot in the ladder match.

As the build-up to the Money in the Bank took centerstage of the WWE Universe, a series of superstars might await a monumental return. Likes of Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and CM Punk might stand in this queue.

Bliss has been heavily teased to debut alongside Uncle Howdy tonight as part of the Wyatt 6 but it didn’t happen. The Little Miss Bliss didn’t show up on Raw, stretching on the chance of a massive Money in the Bank. Through pregnancy leave to post-pregnancy rest, Bliss has been absent from the squared circle for a long. So, WWE might book her return angle with an elevating MITB spot. It’s more feasible given she has already won the briefcase in the past.

Mami can also revert to her comfort place following the complete heal-up of her hurt shoulder to claim back her title from Liv Morgan. Planting her into the Money in the Bank winning spot will be an ideal rejuvenation of her mojo.

CM Punk also told the world that he’s not far from being cleared for a return as he stripped Mclntyre off his title on Clash at The Castle last week. So, Toronto can see him fight for the briefcase right after the return.
