There was major speculation about The Rock’s appearance on the card of WrestleMania or SummerSlam, with stars like Grayson Waller constantly taking digs at him. But it proved to be a massive disappointment for fans as they didn’t spot the wrestler anywhere in any big live events. But now, given that The Rock already reverted to the ring, it naturally raised curiosity about his future storylines in the company.

Although nothing much has been known regarding that, a recent backstage update revealed The Rock will have another meeting with WWE to discuss a variety of storylines. This is according to long term WWE insider BWE.

But on the flip side, Cody Rhodes has been waiting with bated breath to finish his story since last year. He has proved himself enough to earn that opportunity already. Now, WWE snubbing him for another whole year sounds a bit unfeasible.

With The Rock possibly in the mix, WWE won’t be short of options but will need to tread carefully regarding the storyline for The Brahma Bull and Reigns while taking Rhodes into account.
