Despite splitting, The Usos are still monetizing their time together. WWE recently put up custom title belts for sale on the WWE Shop. The purpose of these belts appears to be a commemoration of the long reign that the Samoan twins had as WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

The Stamford-based company surprised the duo’s fans this holiday season with the belts. Even though the brothers have both gone their separate ways, the promotion wanted to give their fans a little something as a souvenir of their dominating time in the tag team division.

Much like their older cousin, both Jimmy and Jey Uso have had a record-breaking title reign. The duo specialized in holding onto their title. The journey that started at Money in the Bank in 2021 ended with a 622-day championship reign at WrestleMania 39. And now, the promotion has decided to capitalize on it.

The limited edition belt has a tribal emblem engraved on it and the color scheme is also what we have seen predominantly in The Bloodline, black and red. The belt is priced at a whopping $499.99.

The first half of the description under the belt on WWE Shop reads, “On July 18, 2021, WWE’s Tag Team division entered the Uso penitentiary, and you’ve been down since Day One. Commemorate The Usos’ unprecedented run with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships by carving out space for this Record-Breaking Championship Title Belt.

Given the fact that the ‘Main Event’ star is getting over with fans on Monday Night Raw, this could be the perfect move for WWE to monetize on his past for nostalgic fans while the twin brothers also receive their royalties from the same.

However, while his cousins have a chance of benefitting from this, Roman Reigns’ products are not doing as great on the WWE shop as they used to. The Tribal Chief’s scarce appearances in WWE are showing an effect on his brand name. For example, a few months ago, stats suggested that his then-opponent LA Knight was doing much better than him at WWE Shop.

So, we can say that Reigns’ absence from WWE has been affecting his merchandise and overall popularity among fans. While he still gets the same reactions from fans when he is in the ring, WWE Shop stats are telling a whole other story.
