World Wrestling Entertainment has made some significant changes/additions to its Board of Directors. These changes are a part of the corporate revamp WWE has been on in the past few weeks.
However, unlike several releases in previous weeks, this time, there are additions.
Nick Khan and two more top names get elected to the WWE Board of Directors

WWE released a statement giving an update on the newest additions to their Board of Directors. They revealed current WWE President Nick Khan is now an elected member of WWE’s Board of Directors.
However, Nick Khan isn’t the only one to join the Board of Directors. Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin and former ESPN EVP of Content Connor Schell also join the Stamford-based company’s Board of Directors.
Koonin and Schell are the newest additions to the company, while Nick Khan has been President and Chief Revenue Officer of the company since last Summer. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon commented on the additions to the Board of Directors.
Mr. McMahon said, “The addition of Steve, Connor and Nick provides WWE and its Board with some of the most accomplished executives in media.
“With such proven track records across our industry, we look forward to their insight and contributions as members of our Board.”

Jamie Horowitz to oversee WWE’s Original Content and its Studios
Except for its Board of Directors, the company has also brought in another top name to oversee its Studios. According to Barrett Sports Media, WWE has hired decorated sports media executive Jamie Horowitz as the EVP of Development and Digital.
Horowitz’s responsibilities include looking after WWE’s original content for both digital and social media platforms. Alongside this, he will also look after the WWE Studios in Los Angeles.
The addition of Koonin and Schell to the Board of Directors. Plus, Jamie Horowitz to look after their Studios proves they’re going the extra mile to bring in the who’s who of the sports entertainment business.

We’ve seen some significant changes since Nick Khan has taken over the reins. Mind you, only positive ones!
