WWE 2K24 MyRise Surprises: Roman Reigns Costing Cody Rhodes, Wyatt Family Easter Eggs, and More

Next week, 2K Games will officially release WWE 2K24, the next installment in the popular WWE fighting game franchise. The title will feature an extensive roster with more than 200 selectable characters, including superstars such as Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes (some with multiple versions), NXT talents, and legends of the company.

But sometimes that isn’t enough. Fans often want the complete experience of being a WWE superstar, and that is when WWE MyRise mode comes in. The single-player mode allows you to create your own superstar with their own story. The mode is a fan favorite and WWE brings up a lot of creativity in the game mode. And here’s all we know about the features in the game mode in WWE 2K24 so far.

Easter Egg for the Wyatt Family

The 2k24 edition of the game features an easter-egg hinting toward Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman. In a cut scene from the game, the masks of the two Wyatt family members can be seen on a shelf.

Both superstars are not a part of the WWE right now, so could it be a hint at their return maybe? Only time will tell, but this surely is a cool easter egg.

Roman Reigns to be an obstacle for Cody Rhodes

With WrestleMania 40 featuring Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes for the Universal title, it seems like the same will be continuing in 2k24. However, there’s a catch. This time it would be Cody Rhodes as the champion and Roman Reigns would be the one costing him the title.

In the scene, Reigns could be seen spearing Cody Rhodes while another opponent lies on the ring. Maybe if Cody Rhodes dethrones the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania40, this could be his way of taking revenge.

Shotzi has a bigger part to play

WWE superstar Shotzi has been a fan favorite due to her gimmick as well as her attire. But despite this, the star rarely gets an opportunity to be on the main card as a highlight. However, that’s not the truth in the game.

In the game, Shotzi could be seen backstage with William Regal. Does it mean that we could see her helping him run NXT or in another managerial position? Definitely a promotion for the WWE superstar.
