Over the past few months, WWE has been hitting all the right notes with the fans when it comes to booking decisions. A lot of stars who were floundering have been solidified and titles are carrying importance again.

The women’s division has also found its footing with strong booking for many female stars.  However, it seems WWE missed the mark in a segment on the latest episode of RAW involving Alexa Bliss and champion Bianca Belair.

Belair congratulated Bliss after she defeated Bayley to become the number-one contender for the RAW Women’s title. But out of nowhere, Bliss caught Belair in a position to the Sister Abigail finisher. Bliss then appeared to snap out of her trance-like state and let the E.S.T. go.

The fans online were less than impressed at this tease of Alexa Bliss reforming her ill-fated alliance with Bray Wyatt and turning into Sister Abigail.

Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt had a strange team up in 2020, with the former RAW Women’s Champion joining Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House. This led to Bliss entirely changing her character from “The Goddess” to a much darker version to go along with the “Eater of the Worlds.”

The partnership intriguing at first ran out of steam and finally fizzled out after Bliss betrayed Wyatt at WrestleMania 37 and cost him his match against Randy Orton.

But now, ever since Wyatt’s return to WWE a couple of months ago, Bliss has been teasing a reunion with this former aide. This week on RAW, WWE took a major step in showing that Wyatt may still have an influence on Bliss and look to recruit her.

RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out to congratulate Bliss after her win over Bayley, which earned her a title shot.

Things turned upside down when Bliss caught Belair in Sister Abigail and remained in the position for what seemed like a good time before deciding against it.

Bliss returned to her sense and let Belair go leaving her perplexed. The WWE fans, though, were not keen on seeing Bliss return to the dark, eerie character she played during her alliance with Wyatt.

Moreover, since there was no payoff to the entire angle the last time, fans didn’t want WWE to repeat the same mistake. Reacting to the segment on Instagram, many fans shared their frustrations.

One fan wrote, “I’m not okay with this. Nobody wants Alexa Bliss in any Wyatt family shenanigans.” Another fan wrote, “not this bullsh*t.” One fan commented, “No one wants this” while another wrote, “Don’t pair Alexa bliss with Bray Wyatt again please.”

Many fans thought the entire segment was cringe and not well done. One fan shared his thoughts and wrote, “Bianca had like a whole business day to get out of that move”. Another fan wrote, “She had 17 minutes to counter that move.”

One user wrote, “Now this just got dumb” and another user also commented, “WTF is this Crap.” One user thought the segment was cringe and wrote, “This cringe crap again.” Some fans had no interest in seeing a Wyatt-Bliss reunion.

A fan commented, “I hope this is just a kidding session.. Please don’t go back to this Bliss persona”. Another fan also wrote, “It sucked so much the first time..why would they want to do it again.”

Clearly, the fans aren’t too excited by this tease from Alexa Bliss and want her to be kept away from Bray Wyatt. Many will also feel if Wyatt does indeed need a female star to form his new team, it should be someone else and not Bliss.
