Former AEW Star Cody Rhodes is yet to be acknowledged by the WWE. Since Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi Rhodes left All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, the fans have been expecting the couple to sign with the WWE.

When ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes announced his exit from AEW, the news shocked the wrestling world. This was because Rhodes served as Executive Vice President for the company.

The Most Stupendous WrestleMania 38 is just a day away! And since Cody’s exit, he has been heavily linked to return at The Grandest Stage of them All with his former WWE gimmick Stardust.

Did the former WWE Champion spill beans about Cody Rhodes’ return to the WWE?

The WWE Universe was teased on multiple promos that Cody Rhodes would appear before WrestleMania. Now, WWE Superstar AJ Styles has body-slammed all the rumors about Cody’s return. Former WWE Champion AJ Styles recently spoke with Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc, and he dismissed Cody Rhodes rumors.

Styles mentioned, “So, I haven’t seen Cody [Rhodes] here. I’ll believe it when I see it. This is what we’ve been a part of for a couple of decades. There are a lot of rumors, but you don’t believe something till you actually see it.”

According to multiple speculations, fans still believe that Cody will be Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent for WrestleMania 38. But Styles claims that he has not seen ‘Dashing’ Cody anywhere in the company, so he doesn’t believe that former AEW Star will return to the WWE.

Why does AJ Styles do not believe in rumors?

The Phenomenal One added that he has dealt with such rumors throughout his wrestling career, but those never entirely played out. AJ Styles will only trust the floating rumors when he sees ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes in the WWE.

“Listen, if Cody is going to be at WrestleMania, I’ll believe it when I see it. So, it’s just one of those things that has happened to me throughout my 20+ years of being in the business. I just don’t believe anything until I see it. Because so many times, we’ve been promised so many things, and they never happen. I’m jaded,” AJ Styles added.
