Hulk Hogan is arguably an irreplaceable name in professional wrestling. The 69-year-old veteran star took the sport to great new heights and his name will live forever when pro wrestling is mentioned. Hence, doing complete justice to his title ‘The Immortal One ‘. The legendary wrestler said goodbye to his in-ring career back in 2012.
Despite retirement, his name continues to pop up in discussion quite often. Recently, another legendary figure in the industry, Kurt Angle, recalled some of his in-ring moments with him during the latest episode of his podcast.
Kurt Angle recalls wrestling with Hulk Hogan

The WWE Hall of Famer faced many opponents during his decorative career, including The Hulkster. Hogan and Angle faced each other a few times, both in WWE and TNA. Angle previously confessed that he used to feel over the moon while wrestling against Hogan, arguably the most popular veteran star in history. Angle, who has been a huge fan of Hogan since his high school days, was more than excited to share the ring with one of the best.
Speaking on his, The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle recalled how incredibly cool Hogan was back then, even in his late 50s. Though not as good as he was in the prime of his career, still Hogan was still a brand.

The Olympic gold medalist noted, ‘When I wrestle him, he was fairly limited. He was in his mid-late fifty’s and he wasn’t quite the same, but he was still pretty good. I mean, he could still go and he never complained when I hit with German Suplexes. Of course, I didn’t do as many as I would with Chris Cain or Ray Mysterious, but you know Hogan was pretty cool.
Kurt Angle’s recent health update on Hogan
Recently, there have been many updates and rumors regarding Hogan’s health. Some time ago, Angle came up with an update that Hogan’s legs have lost the ability to feel anything at all. He noted that Hogan had to use a cane for walking.

However, much to everyone’s comfort, earlier this month, the 69-year-old, Hogan, shared a photo of him chilling at his Hogan’s Hangout in Clearwater Beach. This left the fans delighted that he was doing fine health-wise. Moreover, Hogan’s rep clarified that the legendary wrestler was in good health and hadn’t been paralyzed.
