WWE is hiring. And it is not just for any position, but for a writer or producer for the creative writing team. Imagine being part of the team that decides to make or break a wrestler’s career trajectory as a gimmick. A good storyline plays a really huge part in a wrestler’s success. And Cody Rhodes surely knows the importance of it. Before he was the American Nightmare, he was Stardust, a gimmick that made him quit the WWE.

And now that another bad booking decision is underway to haunt him as he has been sidelined from fighting Roman Reigns for the Universal title at WrestleMania 40, it seems like his family is taking matters into their own hands as his sister wants to join the WWE creative team now.

Wrestleops shared a screenshot of the official WWE Careers website, which currently has a listing for the role of writer/producer for the Creative Writing Team. It will be a full-time job role, based out of the company headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The tweet caught the eye of Cody Rhode’s sister Teil Rhodes, who re-tweeted it with her desire to work for the WWE, as she wrote, “fine, i’ll do it.”

For the position, the company is demanding that the candidates have several qualifications, such as five years or more experience writing for TV, movies, or social media; a bachelor’s degree in TV, media studies, or drama or a related degree; and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the WWE’s audience would be an added advantage.

However, Teil Rhodes’ reply could be a slight jab towards the WWE’s creative decision. They sidelined Cody Rhodes and gave the WrestleMania fight against Roman Reigns to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson instead. Fans and fellow wrestlers alike have criticized this decision. In fact, she is not the only family member who voices out their support for brother Cody Rhodes.

Elder Rhodes shows his support

When the infamous segment of SmackDown aired, it caused a stir on social networks, where the vast majority of fans have expressed their discomfort throughout these days. Surprisingly, several superstars of the company have shown their support for Cody Rhodes. And his brother, Dustin Rhodes, did not hesitate to express his support for his little brother. Taking to Twitter, Dustin Rhodes tweeted, “I love you @CodyRhodes. You are a light for all of us!!#KeepSteppin”

With fans and family showering their support, the American Nightmare must be looking forward to finally finishing his story, even if it is by winning the heavyweight championship. However, as Michael Cole mentioned repeatedly last night on SmackDown, the match between Roman Reigns and The Rock is not official yet.
