The ultimate babyface WWE ever created, Hulk Hogan, has main-evented several PPVs and his name was enough to sell out an entire arena for a WWE event.

We all are aware of Donald Trump’s WWE connection, as he is one of the good friends of Vince McMahon. But did you know that the former US President is a Hulkamaniac?

When WrestleMania started becoming a major thing, Vince McMahon started getting sponsors for the event. Thus, WrestleMania 4, which was advertised from Trump Plaza, but actually it happened at Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall, which is across the Plaza in Atlantic City.

In a rare picture, we can see the highlight of the show Hulk Hogan and a young Donald Trump. In the picture, Trump and The Hulkster are shaking hands. However, it seems while they clicked the photo, Trump made a joke as he is smiling and Hogan is staring at the former US President.

Moroever, WrestleMania 4 was a successful event. Hence, this made Trump requesting Vince McMahon to host WrestleMania 5 at Trump Plaza again. In the history of WrestleMania, Trump Plaza is the only venue to hold the grandest stage for two years back to back.

WrestleMania 4 had a  14-man single-elimination tournament for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, in which Randy Savage defeated Ted DiBiase to win the vacant title. The WWE legend was a part of this tournament and his opponent was Andre the Giant, whom he defeated a year back at WrestleMania 3.

Hogan vs Andre 2 match didn’t get a winner. The match ended in double disqualification, which didn’t qualify Hogan or Andre to semi-finals.

Hulk Hogan wanted to be Donald Trump’s running mate

Back in 2016, when Donald Trump was having his Presidential Campaign, wrestler Hulk Hogan told the world he wants to be Trump’s running mate.

Speaking with TMZ, Hogan said, “I don’t want to be in the ring with any candidates. I want to be Trump’s running mate.”

The person filming the video tried again, asking, “Who would last the longest with you?”  

But Hogan replied, “Did you hear that? Vice President Hogan?” It seems The Hulkster’s mind was elsewhere, already thinking about being the Vice President.

Around the same time, Hogan was in the news in recent weeks. WWE fired him in July following the leak of a rant in which he used the racist words. In an interview with “Good Morning America,” he apologized and said he was not a racist.
