‘Without You, There Is No Ava’: Dwayne Johnson’s Daughter Gives Full Credit to Ex-WWE Champion for Polishing Her Into a True Professional, and It’s Not the Rock

The NXT division of WWE is a furnace where future RAW and SmackDown superstars are forged. The wrestlers in the NXT roster draw inspiration from their senior pro wrestlers and look up to their performances. NXT wrestler Ava Raine recently released an online statement where she revealed the name of an unexpected person as her inspiration. While one would think she gets inspired by her father, The Rock, Ava said that she found inspiration from Bray Wyatt.

Raine comes from the Anoa’i family of Samoan wrestlers. The family has given birth to several wrestlers who have been the face of WWE in different eras. While she carries the same blood and warrior traits, her personality takes a completely different turn.

Ava and her heartfelt message to Bray Wyatt

The Anoa’i family wrestlers have rocked the hearts of the WWE Universe in all the personas they have played. From the most electrifying man to the Head of the Table, the Anoa’i family has dominated every corner of WWE. Ava, however, stands apart from her family. In fact, her style matches that of The Fiend, Bray Wyatt. 

Ava stalks around in the shadows and corners her prey unsuspectingly just the way Wyatt does. While Wyatt hunted wrestlers as the dangerous leader of the Wyatt Family, Ava emerged as the fourth root of Schism. The budding NXT wrestler recently took to social media and expressed her thoughts on what Bray Wyatt meant to her.

Ava uploaded a heartfelt message for the departed Bray Wyatt on Instagram She said, “I deeply admired the way he was able to truly turn pro wrestling into an art.” The budding NXT star also noted, “The detail & thought that Bray put into each of his characters is unmatched.” Ava also admitted that Wyatt was a great inspiration for her. 

Ava said, “Without Bray’s influence, there would be no Schism or Ava.” The NXT star was one of the many souls whom Wyatt had touched with his performances and consistency. Wyatt wasn’t another heel in the industry, he was the first Bray Wyatt: The mastermind of fear.

The undiluted terror of the Wyatt Family

The entire world got thunderstruck by the devastating news of the demise of Bray Wyatt. The Fiend changed the entire perspective of the WWE Universe about what an excellent heel can do. While majority of heels invoke hatred and disgust towards them, Bray Wyatt conveyed a raw sense of dread to the audience. 

The Wyatt family acted in unpredictable ways. Whenever the lights went out, everyone kept guessing whether they’d be welcomed by a video footage, or The Fiend himself.

Bray Wyatt launched pure hell on the entire WWE locker room. From taking out wrestlers with Sister Abigail to unleashing the vicious Black Sheep Braun Strowman, Wyatt stopped at nothing. The entire WWE Universe turned on the flashlights of their phones each time he made an entrance.
