Former WWE Champion, Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone gifted herself with new trademarks under her name as a Christmas gift. As per the reports of PW Insider, Mercedes Mone filed for trademarks on December 22nd to the US Trademark and Patent Office. It was done through her company Soul Inc. and attorney Michael E Dockins.

The recent legal move comes amidst strong rumors of her potential return to WWE. But what does this mean for WWE fans? It also opens questions about the character she will portray on the WWE if she returns as Mercedes Mone has become popular too.

Sasha Banks signs multiple trademarks as Mercedes Mone

As per PW Insider, she has signed up for wrestling gear named under Time is Mone, Mone Wear, and Mone’ Talks. There are a plethora of items covered under the three names and let us take a look at the list. 

1. TIME IS MONÉ: Coats; Hats; Leggings; Pants; Shirts; Shoes; Shorts; Socks; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts; Outer jackets.
2. MONÉ WEAR: Coats; Hats; Leggings; Pants; Shirts; Shoes; Shorts; Socks; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts; Outer jackets
3. MONE’ TALKS: Entertainment services, namely, providing podcasts in the field of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, music, popular culture, inspirational messages, life advice, and acting; Entertainment services, namely, providing video podcasts in the field of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, music, popular culture, inspirational messages, life advice, and acting; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and actress in the field of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, music, popular culture, inspirational messages, life advice, and acting for entertainment purposes.

That’s a lot of trademarks to sign up for but it seems important for The Boss. Hence, she took time out despite suffering an ankle injury earlier this year. So, does this mean that she is up to something big in the coming year?

The rumors about a potential return to WWE are looming large for the Boss. The rumors find a stronger base after Charlotte Flair’s injury as WWE could look for a big-name replacement as cover. Banks is one of the ‘Four Horsewomen’ of WWE and a perfect substitute for the 14-time World Champion. But Banks may return with a twist.
