As the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show started, the first one on stage was Bianca Belair. Coming live from the  T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Belair was electrifying on stage. While she was ready to address the fans, she acknowledged Mania’s history and its importance in the WWE. During this, she made a reference to Sasha Banks, which stunned the crowd as Banks is no longer with the WWE.

Belair and Banks have worked together in the past and share a good history within the WWE. It looks like Banks joining another company has not changed that.

While currently, there are no plans involving Belair at WrestleMania 40, her popularity could change things. Her stardom has grown with the launch of her recent TV show involving her life and husband. With the debut of Jade Cargill at the Royal Rumble, things have gotten even more interesting.

Taking the stage, she first addressed her show Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez on Hulu with Montez Ford. After that, she talked about her match at WrestleMania 37. She said, “I made history at WrestleMania 37 with Sasha Banks.” She added that she and Banks made history as the first two black women to Main Event, the prestigious PLE.

While acknowledging Banks was great sportsmanship on Belair’s part, the name-drop shocked the fans. Banks is rumored to debut in AEW next week at AEW Dynamite: Big Business. WWE is not known for acknowledging stars from other rival shows.

As Belair mentioned about her and Banks in the first black women’s match, the WWE could try to do something in a similar vein.

How the WWE could fix a match for Bianca Belair

As mentioned earlier, there are no plans involving Belair at WrestleMania. However, she will face Michin in the latest Women’s EliminationChamber qualifying match on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. This could lead to something where she gets a match at WrestleMania.
