Roman Reigns‘ family tree is pretty vast, containing several wrestlers and also non-wrestling family members. The Bloodline welcomed a new member after WrestleMania XL, who is not a blood relative of The Tribal Chief. However, Jacob Fatu, who has already signed with WWE, is a relative of Roman Reigns. He was recently found talking about the Anoa’i family.
In an interview with Muscle Man Malcolm, the newly-signed WWE star was asked to put forward his opinion about the late wrestler Umaga. Since they are both closely related, Fatu was able to share his raw thoughts.

When the interviewer asked Jacob Fatu about how much Umaga means to his family, the wrestler couldn’t hold himself back from remembering all the good things about his uncle. When Jacob Fatu’s grandmother was buried in a wall in Las Vegas, Umaga left his Intercontinental Championship there, which was a special gesture for the nephew.
In the interview, Fatu recalled, “When I was living in Pensacola, Florida, with Roman Reigns’ sister, he would come to the football games. He would bring my grandmother.” Although Jacob didn’t reveal which of the three sisters of Reigns he used to live in Florida, Umaga’s presence at his football games makes him happy to this day.
He also feels proud that his uncle was one of the legends in the pro wrestling industry and also got to share the ring with other legendary wrestlers of the time. Jacob Fatu also claimed that the entire Anoa’i family feels the same way about Umaga and his kids. Even though he has left this world, the late wrestler’s children are loved by the rest of the family.

Judging by how highly the 32-year-old thinks of the Anoa’i family, he might join Roman Reigns in his quest to restore his control if needed.
Roman Reigns may find support from Jacob Fatu
Following his major title loss at WrestleMania XL, there have been speculations that Roman Reigns will also lose control over The Bloodline. With new additions to the team and their new leader ruthlessly turning down Roman Reigns’ orders, the Head of the Table may be overthrown in the coming few weeks.

Since WWE hasn’t yet used Jacob Fatu for a debut in the promotion, we could see him going in the opposite direction from his cousins, who are already in their heel phase. So, Jacob Fatu could be introduced as a babyface. This will also allow him to redeem Roman Reigns’ character and bring order to the Anoa’i family.
Do you think the son of Umaga, Zilla Fatu, could also join WWE sometime down the line?
