WWE is currently going flat out as Money in The Bank approaches near. Emotions run high for the wrestling fanatics as MITB 2023 is largely expected to pull off an action-packed event this week in London. That said, Brock Lesnar fans have probably been slightly down in the dumps as the Beast Incarnate was nowhere on the card for WWE’s next PLE in the UK. Their grief could turn to delight as a shell-shocking update awaits them.

Another top name, Cody Rhodes, is all set to take on the newest member of the Judgement Day, Dominik Mysterio in a highly hyped-up match this Saturday. That said, his arch-rival also might play a pivotal role in the event despite his absence from the PLE.

Cody Rhodes’s rivalry with Brock Lesnar dates back to him getting let down by ‘The Beast’ at Raw after WrestleMania in April. Immediately after receiving a major reality check from Roman Reigns at the Grandest Stage of Them All, The American Nightmare found himself in the doldrums as Lesnar cost him a chance at exacting revenge.

The episode was just the trailer for a phenomenal rivalry between Rhodes and Lensar. The heat between them thereafter continued to unfold through Backlash, Night of Champions, and the weekly shows. The two superstars haven’t concluded their rivalry after picking up just one vague win against each other. WWE postponed their trilogy bout for another day. But the drama won’t subside, rather it has a high chance to get more intense as per the latest reports.

According to WRKD Wrestling’s recent findings, Lesnar’s MITB appearance will set up a third gimmick match against Rhodes. He could sneak into the affairs of the former AEW star and Dominik, resulting in an intense finish to the match than many thought.

The next encounter between both superstars is long rumored to take place at SummerSlam this year. Speaking of Money in The Bank, Lesnar is not the biggest surprise in the room, nevertheless.

Randy Orton has been on a hiatus since May 2022, falling victim to a grudge attack by The Bloodline. After his successful back surgery, The Viper’s potential return to the business has been a hot pick in the wrestling world. The speculation even speaks of his return as early as Money in The Bank this Saturday.

While fans are more than ready to welcome the returning star with a grand reception, the question remains, what role he will put on upon his very first match in one year? One possible scenario includes him interfering in the Bloodlines’ civil war and coming to the help of The Usos against Reigns and Sikoa. But even if it sounds tempting, this will only complicate matters inside Roman’s family even more.
