This week on Raw, a former WWE Champion proved why he is one of the best superstars in WWE. He pulled off an unbelievably bizarre promo on the Flagship show. During the live event, the wrestler fought invisible John Cena and flattened him on the floor.

It was a very interesting segment and instantly became viral as a meme on social media. Pat McAfee praised him and went so far as to stated that he believes The A-Lister deserves an award for his hilarious performance.

In one of the latest episodes of The Pat McAfee Show, the former football punter dedicated an entire segment to discussing The Miz fighting an invisible John Cena on the September 4 edition of Raw. Later he called ‘The A-Lister’ and complimented him on the segment.

He said, “I appreciate the hell out of you. You’re the man! That was… You should win an award for last night.”

He also praised Stu, the cameraman who captured the segment so brilliantly. Despite Cena not actually being there, he captured every step of the invisible Cena from his entrance at the ramp to his sliding inside the ring.

The Miz hit invisible Cena with a Skull Crushing Finale

At Payback, host Cena appointed himself as the special guest referee for The Miz versus LA Knight match. Cena, being a babyface, did not allow the heel to use his antics to cheat in the match. LA Knight was the winner of the bout, which The Miz was not pleased about.

At Raw this week, Cena was to appear as the special guest for The Miz TV. However, instead of Cena, an invisible Cena made an appearance. Poking fun at Cena’s classic catchphrase ‘You can’t see me’, The Miz orchestrated an entire segment with an invisible Cena where the two talked about their Payback segment.

The Miz even accused Cena of taking a bribe from Knight, causing him to lose the match. During the ending of the segment, the WWE Universe saw The Miz attack Cena and flatten him with his finishing move, a Skull Crushing Finale.

The segment was hilarious and The Miz sure did take Cena’s iconic ‘You can’t see me’ catchphrase to the next level. The segment drew praise from many as proof of The Miz’s showman skills within the ring. As McAfee said, he really deserves an award for pulling off the segment so well on Raw.
