WWE chairman Vince McMahon has changed the entire pro-wrestling industry ever since taking control over WWF in the mid-80s. For over four decades, McMahon has ruled over WWE and also the industry. However, WWE legend gives his honest opinion on The Rock buying WWE from McMahon.
The future WWE Hall of Famer, The Rock is not just a successful Hollywood actor. He is also a brilliant entrepreneur and the owner of The Seven Bucks Production house where he produces his projects.
Wrestling historian and veteran promoter, Jim Cornette, recently gave his honest opinion on whether The Rock will ever buy the WWE from Vince McMahon.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, ‘Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru‘, Cornette confessed that the former WWE champion is “smart” and he will never make such a deal.
He also added that it doesn’t matter how rich The Rock gets, but he will never put billions of his hard-earned dollars into any wrestling promotion let alone WWE.
“Some people were saying, ‘Is The Rock going to buy WWE?’ I don’t care how rich a movie star he is, he ain’t putting $5 billion, all or part of his dollars, into a wrestling promotion – any wrestling promotion, I wouldn’t think. He’s smart enough not to do that,” Cornette confessed.
The Rock recently claimed that Nick Khan is his “lifelong friend”
The reason why people speculate on The Rock buying the WWE from McMahon in the future is that The Great One recently uploaded a photo of him having a meal with WWE President Nick Khan and her sister.
In the Instagram post, The Rock reflected on the close relationship he shares with Nick Khan and her sister Nahnatchka Khan.

Eventually, former WWE Head Writer, Vince Russo recently said that in the future Nick Khan and The Rock could team up and buy the juggernaut promotion from Vince McMahon.

However, it is not known whether the former champion is interested in a deal for buying the company he once worked in.
