The Miz has held the WWE Championship only once in his career. Yes, he’s enjoyed many Tag Team and Intercontinental Championship reigns throughout the decade, but he truly deserves multiple World Championship reigns. That being said, he is still Mr. MITB, so will he become a two-time WWE Champion? Let’s find out.
Will The Miz cash-in his Money in the Bank contract?

During the segment, The Miz said neither McIntyre nor Goldberg will walk out as WWE Champion on Sunday as he will cash in his MITB contract. The question is, will he do it successfully?
The Miz won the MITB contract from Otis after WWE understood they couldn’t do anything with Otis and the briefcase. The ‘A-Lister’ cashed in on McIntyre at the WWE TLC Pay-per-view last month but came up short. Luckily, WWE overturned the cash-in as John Morrison had cashed in and not The Miz.

WWE giving the MITB contract back to The Miz means the company has some plans for it. Honestly, seeing him cash in on a battered McIntyre will be an outstanding sight.
Why? McIntyre can embark on a quest to win his 3rd WWE Championship at WrestleMania, while The Miz enjoys his second title reign for a couple of months before dropping it.
The Miz is a heel loved by the entire WWE universe. What started off as fans despising his character has now transformed to fans loving this great heel of professional wrestling. Not just that, but he’s not injury-prone and is a true entertainment package.

The promo battles between McIntyre and Miz are something that will be worth watching. The ‘Awesome’ one can make McIntyre look like a million bucks as a babyface, and that’s what WWE wants.
They want to set McIntyre as their top babyface. It all comes down to top babyface vs top heel, and fans would love to see Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns someday down the line.
