Over the past week, The Bloodline has laid waste to John Cena and AJ Styles. The planned tag team match at Fastlane features Cena alone going up against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Will this episode be a rehash of Cena getting pounced and hurt? Or will a surprise superstar’s return help Cena out?

The planned Cena match at Fastlane was supposed to have this star; however, he wasn’t available last week due to a certain medical condition. Fans are hoping to see him in the upcoming episode.

LA Knight has been on a roll at SmackDown. Since his SummerSlam 2023 victory, fans have continued to pour their love to the superstar. Last week’s SmackDown episode was supposed to push Knight to the top. However, due to some medical complication, he could not appear.

PWInsider now suggests that Knight is set to make his return to SmackDown in this upcoming episode. There were major plans regarding the star during the last episode. Unfortunately, these couldn’t work due to Knight testing positive for COVID-19.

According to the plans, once The Bloodline took out Styles, Knight would assist Cena during the contract signing segment. This would lead to confirmation that Knight would become Cena’s partner at Fastlane against The Bloodline.

Since this was canceled, fans were speculating that Randy Orton might be the surprise return at Fastlane to aid Cena in the match. Orton has been out of the WWE and was seen at the Performance Center. Fans are still excited to see who will aid Cena against The Bloodline.

LA Knight’s popularity with the WWE Universe has propelled him to attain great success. However, one superstar claimed that he had a major role to play in Knight’s success.

A superstar takes claim for Knight’s success

Knight went over with the fans as soon as he made his debut. They loved the bold attitude era nostalgia that Knight brought from within. However, Grayson Waller claims that Knight’s success should be attributed to him rather than Knight himself.

Speaking to Australian network SEN, Waller claimed that Knight was cold in NXT 2.0. After his match with Waller, fans started to cheer for him. “That’s because of me. If it wasn’t for me, he never would have done that,” Waller claimed. Knight did not respond to this, nor has he brushed shoulders with Waller on the main roster. While Waller sets his sights on The Rock, Knight may help out Cena.
