Right after the greatest ever, WrestleMania went down in the pages of history, putting a lot of boiling storylines to rest, WWE came up with some new twists to obsess over. On a jam-packed episode of SmackDown last week, the company produced Tama Tonga as the new Bloodline member in a shell-shocking segment. While his inclusion in the Bloodline saga paves the way for a renaissance in the group, the fans can’t refrain from anticipating more. That primarily consists of the possibility of Tonga’s brother Hikuleo’s WWE signing.

WWE could turn their focus to the recruitment of Tama Tonga’s brother Hikuleo?

Hikuleo is the youngest brother of Tama Tonga and a fellow NPJW wrestler. But the common fact between the brothers that has been stirring the WWE Universe lately is WWE’s previous interest in Hikuleo. Although the talks didn’t turn out fruitful last year, fans are beaming with hope. And that’s quite justified given his brother, Tama Tonga, is now a part of the Stamford-based company.

Per Fightful Select, Hikuleo’s existing deal with New Japan Pro-Wrestling is supposed to expire in June while his tag team partner in the Japanese promotion, El Phantasmo’s New Japan deal was due to expire in January.

And there is still no word on the 6’8″ star extending the NPJW deal or penning a new one. Therefore, an option to join forces with his sibling under the WWE ring is kept open for now.

Moving ahead, Tama Tonga’s opportunities in WWE seem endless.

What’s next for Tama Tonga in WWE?

Tama Tonga has a clear distinction over other Bloodline members as he hails from the Tongan lineage, not the Samoan lineage. However, despite not being a Samoan by blood, Tonga has a significant connection with The Rock. Tonga’s adoptive father Haku is Johnson’s uncle. And here lies the twist in the storyline. During the blue brand show last week, Tonga was seen telling Heyman that the Tribal Chief was giving him orders while the Wise Man looked clueless guessing whom he was talking about. There was a slight hint that Tonga might acknowledge The Rock as his Tribal Chief and turn on Roman Reigns in a one-to-one fight. On the other hand, he can also keep his pairing with Solo Sikoa intact, joining him in a fight against Reigns and The Usos in a deciding tag team bout.
