After conquering the wrestling territories, many WWE superstars have ventured into Hollywood. Following WWE legends, Dwayne Johnson and John Cena’s footsteps, Seth Rollins has also entered the world of camera, lights, and action. His debut MCU movie Captain America: New World Order is set to release next year.

If the past is any indication, fans know Hollywood is like a gigantic magnet that has attracted many superstars from WWE in the past. Said stars first converted to part-time wrestlers before completely transitioning to the big screen. Will the same happen to ‘The Visionary’ too?

Seth Rollins needs a break from wrestling

Wrestling takes a toll on a wrestler’s body, which is what has happened with Rollins. ‘The Monday Night Messiah’ is currently suffering from a back injury. This issue has been persistent for four years now. In an interview, he revealed he has two fractures in his lumbar spine. Despite that, he has been showing up in the ring. But he is skeptical of how long his back will hold and allow him to wrestle with his current schedule.

His MCU debut gives him a chance to move away from the ring and focus on a career that might prove to be less demanding. This back injury can be a major factor in Rollins’ transition to Hollywood. Being a part-time wrestler and an actor will allow him to focus on his health more and make enough money to take care of his family at the same time. He has already accomplished a lot in WWE, so it may be time that he shakes things up in his life.

Chances are that it might happen, but there is also an equal chance it might not.

Rollins is thriving in WWE

It has been a decade since ‘The Visionary’ joined WWE. With each passing day, he has only gotten better and better. Ever since he stepped foot inside the ring, his performance hasn’t declined at all. Many WWE stars suffer a decline in their career at some point, but not in his case. Rollins has kept going from strength to strength.

He is the definition of success and when it feels like he has attained everything in WWE and couldn’t be more successful; he proves the world wrong. Right now, he is enjoying his reign as the World Heavyweight Champion in WWE. He has successfully defended his belt ever since he captured the title at Night of Champions in May.

With multiple championship reigns and many more accomplishments under his belt, he is a sure-shot Hall of Famer. Even then, he keeps adding more achievements to his already illustrious resume. In conclusion, he may remain a full-time wrestler till he reaches a point where he has to take a step back.

Also, since Captain America: New World Order will be his first big movie break, there will be some way to go before he can think of actively moving to Hollywood. As we know with The Rock and John Cena, it could take a while before Rollins starts finding his feet in the movie industry.

Although there is little clarity on his role in the upcoming MCU movie, it is rumored that he will play the role of a member of the villainous Serpent Society.
