While the two have barely worked together, another star who has closely worked with him wishes he receives the honor of doing so. In an interview with the Busted Open Radio, former ECW wrestler and promoter Tommy Dreamer shared his wish to induct his old friend into the Hall of Fame. He said it is indeed befitting that he inducts him considering the history they share.
However, he feels that there is a catch to it. Dreamer said, “They have other people who work in WWE. And they have people who’ve had bigger success in the WWE. CM Punk inducting Paul Heyman works. Steve Austin inducting Paul Heyman works. Does Tommy Dreamer work? Absolutely. [But] you have everyone in-house already, why do you need this other person who doesn’t work there?”
Talking about Paul Heyman guys, there is one notable figure who wishes to induct him this year.
What does the Tribal Chief have to say about Heyman’s induction?
During his recent appearance on the Patt McAfee show, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, stated who should induct Paul Heyman this year. And he had carefully laid down the criteria for receiving that honor. He said, “Whoever does it, they need to be authentic. They need to tell their story of Paul (Heyman). There are going to be a lot of facts and history you can lay down with the Wiseman, all the way from the beginnings with the giant phone to being the advocate to being my special counsel. Whoever does it just needs to be themselves and tell the truth.”
