Hulk Hogan is arguably one of the biggest wrestlers to lace up the boots. And his ability to draw crowds even at the age of 68 is tremendous. His charisma and technique may have dwindled a bit, but his legacy speaks for himself.

Another such individual is Ric Flair, who has undoubtedly proven himself to be able to put matches that would rival some of the stars of this generation. His last feud with Vince McMahon culminating in ‘The Nature Boy’s exit from the company was electric. And he seems to return to the ring for ‘one last time’ at 73. Should Hogan follow in the footsteps of his old rival to give fans one last match?

Ric Flair’s one last match

Scheduled to take place on July 31, 2022, the match is at STARRCAST. And to commemorate this occasion, there is a roast taking place. Dubbed ‘The Roast of Ric Flair’, this will include many friends and co-workers of Flair from his glorious career. Till now, the STARRCAST Twitter account revealed Diamond Dallas Page as one of the roasters.

While there have been no opponents announced yet, many have thrown their names in the hat. Even CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, has pronounced that she would love to work with Ric Flair as well.

While there has been a major support for the Nature Boy, some have criticized this move. Citing his many injuries over his 5-decade long career, many have logically reasoned with Flair to stop this thing from going too far. But it seems like there’s no stopping Flair.

Should Hulk Hogan follow Flair’s example?

While he might be 68, Hogan has shown time and again that he still has the charisma to bring crowds flocking to a wrestling arena. And while Hogan was running wild with Hulkamania in WWF, Sting was making strides in the WCW. And while being just 5 years younger than ‘The Hulkster’, Sting is still competing in AEW.

While acting as a manager and mentor to Darby Allin, Sting is scheduled to wrestle on the AEW and NJPW’s first joint PPV, this Sunday. In an 8-man tag team match, Sting will be wrestling at Forbidden Door this Sunday at the age of 63.
